Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a nationally recognized curriculum that offers hands-on, problem-based, and project-based lessons that emphasize critical thinking, creativity, innovation, and real-world problem-solving skills. Through the PLTW courses, students are provided with a foundation and proven path to post-secondary training and career success in STEM-related fields.

Income possibilities vary depending on the different engineering fields and other available fields. Here are some of the starting salaries for people in the fields listed above in career opportunities:

  • Average pay for Engineer: about $60,000-$70,000
  • Average pay for Drafting Technicians: about $40,000-$50,000
  • Average pay for Architects: about $34,000-$40,000
