Television Production and Animation in Action

Welcome to the Television Broadcast, Digital Media, Animation & Film Academy!

The Digital Media and Film production program is a comprehensive and hands-on digital experience designed for students interested in entertainment industries including film, television, radio, along with writing, editing, acting, and performance. Students have access to state-of-the-art classroom labs - equipped with cameras, editing software, lighting kits, and music production equipment - to practice writing, producing, performing, editing, and filming skills.

Students also have the option to take animation courses. Students in Animation learn to bring their imaginations to life by designing, drawing, building and giving life to whatever characters, creatures, spaceships, or worlds they can dream up. They do this by using industry-standard programs such as Adobe Animate CC, Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe Photoshop CC and Autodesk Maya. Students also learn to shoot short films, use green screen compositing and other skills designed to make students valuable to employers looking to hire individuals with high-end graphic design skills.
